Ingredients

  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 30 ml cold water
  • 15 g cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 30 ml honey
  • 120 ml soy sauce
  • 120 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger.
Step 2
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and cold water until smooth.
Step 4
Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and stir constantly until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Remove from heat and let the sauce cool before using or storing.
