Step 1
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off any excess.

Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook the chicken breasts until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and cook until they are browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for another minute.

Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet.

Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is thickened.
