  • 2 acorn squash
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2
Cut the acorn squashes in half and remove the seeds.

Brush the inside of each squash half with olive oil.

Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and brown sugar evenly over the squash halves.

Place a small pat of butter in each squash half.

Arrange the squash halves cut side up on a baking sheet.
