  • 240 ml beef broth
  • 500 g beef sirloin
  • black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 250 g egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • salt
  • 120 ml sour cream

Directions

Step 1
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add the beef slices and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
Step 4
Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are tender.
Step 5
Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir well to combine.
Step 6
Pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
Step 7
Stir in the mustard, salt, and black pepper to taste.
Step 8
Reduce the heat to low and return the beef to the skillet, simmering for a few minutes until the beef is heated through.

Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Step 10
Serve the Beef Stroganoff over cooked egg noodles or rice.
