Step 1
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a muffin pan or line with muffin liners.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
Step 3
Place the vegetable oil into a measuring cup; add the egg and enough milk to fill the cup to the 240 ml line.
Step 4
Mix this with the flour mixture. Fold in the blueberries.
Step 5
Fill muffin cups right to the top, and sprinkle with crumb topping mixture if desired.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until done.
