  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup rice

Directions

Step 1
In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 2
In another saucepan, combine the cooked rice, 3 cups of milk, sugar, and salt. Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy, about 15-20 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in the remaining 1 cup of milk, beaten egg, and vanilla. Cook for 2 more minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 4
Remove from heat and stir in the cinnamon. Let cool before serving.
