  • 240 ml bread crumbs
  • 30 ml brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 900 g ground beef
  • 60 ml ketchup
  • 120 ml milk
  • 15 ml mustard
  • 1 onion
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Step 4
In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread this mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
Step 6
Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
