  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 425 g diced tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 425 g kidney beans
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 425 ml tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and cook until the onion is translucent.
Step 3
Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Step 4
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Serve hot, optionally garnished with shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions.
